An Argentine barbecue, or Asado, is a cultural event and a cooking method centered on grilling various meats, slowly, over wood with simple salt seasoning, often accompanied by a fresh chimichurri sauce. This event is a social gathering with family and friends, and cooking the meat is a slow, patient process focused on quality.
We invite you to join us as we prepare multiple courses to inspire and delight. Our setting will be a long table in our garden (weather permitting) as Yohalex and Paul serve meats, provoleta (grilled cheese), and other delicacies from the grill. There will be salads and breads and loads of conversation and merriment.
Grab your bottle of Malbec and join us for this very special dinner. The official dinner ‘start’ time is 6:00 P.M., but Paul will be stoking the fire starting early in the afternoon. Feel free to stop by to see the process!
Demonstration
Instructors: Chefs Susan & Paul Shaltry and Yohalex Medina-Mora
