I grew up using cast-iron cookware, and continue to use it for many different dishes. In this class, I'll share some of the great benefits to cooking with cast-iron, as well as some tips on properly cleaning and storing your skillets to maintain their quality. Then I'll prepare a Surf and Turf dinner utilizing a cast-iron skillet for part of every course!
We’ll kick off with bubbling Baked Brie and Bacon Jam served with warm skillet bread, followed by a show-stopping Chili-Dusted New York Strip and Boursin Crab Cakes paired with Roasted Asparagus and Creamy Polenta.
