Wellness Series: Gut Health 101: Prebiotics, Probiotics & Postbiotics, April 24, 2:00-4:30pm

$110.00

Your gut microbiome plays a powerful role in digestion, immune function, inflammation, hormone regulation, and overall well-being. In this interactive and educational class, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how the gut works and why supporting it through food is foundational to long-term health. We’ll focus on the three essential components of gut health- prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics- and how they work together to create a balanced, resilient digestive system.

Hands-On Experience: Kimchi Making
Participants will create their own batch of kimchi, a traditional fermented vegetable dish rich in beneficial bacteria and bioactive compounds. This hands-on activity is designed to give you the confidence to continue fermenting at home and experiment with gut-supportive foods beyond the class. This class is ideal for anyone interested in improving digestive health, supporting immune function, reducing inflammation, or learning practical, food-based strategies to care for the gut.

Seminar and Hands-On

Instructors: Chef Susan Shaltry, Wendy Currier and Christine Bulgrin
