Hand pies hold so much appeal for many reasons - they're easy to package individually to enjoy later, perfect for traveling, and great for gifting to friends and family.
We'll be making a variety of fillings in this fun, hands-on class! I'll give some tips for freezing and re-heating, as well as my favorite recipes for dough to use for the crust when you're making these at home (dough for class will be made ahead of time).
The fillings that we'll make include cinnamon apple, savory Tex-Mex beef, chicken and sun-dried tomato, and roasted vegetable with Boursin cheese.
We'll also assemble a seasonal mixed green salad with toppings and a vinaigrette to enjoy for lunch once our hand pies come out of the oven!
