Make and Take: Sweet & Savory Galettes, November 4, 11:30-2:00

Making and baking with homemade pie dough can be intimidating. This class will teach you the basics in making a foolproof pie dough and how to roll it out. With your pie dough you will make 2 galettes to take home with you to bake later. Recipes will include Double Crust Pie Dough, Savory Butternut Squash Galette, and Apple Pie Galette with Maple Sugar Glaze. A light lunch of galette and salad will be served before we get started at the island. Please bring 2 containers large enough to hold your 2 9-inch round galettes.
