Inspiration for this class started with a lovely cookbook titled The Farmette Cookbook written by Imen McDonnell. It’s a true story of a modern American woman transplanted onto a centuries-old dairy farm in the Ireland countryside after falling in love with a dashing Irish farmer. Sounds like the makings of a Hallmark movie!

Instead, we have Ms. McDonnell’s recipes to create here in our own Seasoned Farmhouse kitchen.

Irish Brown Soda Bread with Compound Butter

Spotted Dog — A white soda bread served with Dubliner cheddar

Medjool Dates, Goat’s Cheese, Almond and Irish Honey Salad

Roast Chicken with Lemon, Garlic, and Thyme with Classic Colcannon Potatoes

Chocolate Guinness Cakes with Bailey’s Irish Cream and Ganache

Chef’s Table - You will sit around the island as the chef cooks and teaches little tricks of the trade while you taste and savor the food.

Instructor: Chef Malinda Meadows
